6 Ways You Can Change Your Life


No matter how old we are, sometimes we find ourselves in an impasse in our life. The description of an impasse is any situation in which the parties involved can’t, or won’t, move forward or make any sort of progress.

The definition of impasse  is somehow true to  some extent only. Why? Because if you are aware that you are in an impasse, you already made it to the first step of the staircase which is acknowledging your impasse.

Congrats! You’ve set yourself on your journey to success without even realizing it!

Feeling stuck happens to the best of us. We feel powerless and it’s a very distressful feeling to have. Sometimes it seems no matter how hard we try, things don’t go the way we want them to.

1. Adopt a strategic attitude towards life


Strategic relates to the identification of long-term or overall aims and interests and the means of achieving them.

Attitude is a settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something, typically one that is reflected in a person’s behavior.

To adopt a strategic attitude towards life means you will carefully design or plan your life to serve a particular purpose or advantage, in this case, to serve you and the ones you love.


2. Learn from your patterns and mistakes


We all have behavioral patterns that we keep repeating that set us back in time and keeps us from progressing. We get used to do things a certain manner, because it gives us a sense of control, even if  our old ways do not serve us anymore.

This sense of power is fake.

Those patterns are so well encrusted inside of us that we have became – almost – oblivious when they occur and leave us puzzled and confused.

Understanding your patterns is the first step into avoiding committing the same mistakes over again.


3. Turn your failures into knowledge and wisdom


This one is very important and dare to me.

Failure is the lack of success.

Lack is the state of being without or not having enough of something.

It does not sound so bad anymore when putting this way, right?

Failures only mean you do not have enough of something, success in this case. It does not mean you are not successful. It just means you could be more.

Therefore it is primordial for you to evaluate what accounts as a failure and what accounts as a success. Any kind of failure should give you the knowledge and wisdom to attend the next level of success in a better way.

Compare this to driving on the highway.

The fastest exit is closed. What are you going to do? Give up and go back or just take a detour? You’ve been driving for hours already. How disappointing would it be to have spent all that gas and just go back home? The right decision is to take the detour even if it frustrates/discourages you and requires you to be more patient.

But guess what? Taking the detour might make you discover a new part of town/country you never thought were there.

Failures work the same way as closed exits. They’re just detours.

4. Respect your desires and go after your dreams


We all have desires and dreams. As long as they mean no harm to no living being, they are right to follow. And you should never hesitate to listen to your desires and dreams if it means they will help you get up in the morning and get off those harmful prescribed pills.

Don’t worry about what others want for you. And yes that could even mean deceiving your mom.

You are the only individual on Earth who knows how hard your inner battles are and what would truly makes you happy.


5. Be receptive to the universal signs


Have you gotten more tired lately? Have you lost motivation? Have you developed a physical disease when you used to be so healthy?

How’s life working for you?

Let me reassure you. You are normal.

You are not mentally ill like everyone around you wants you to believe.

Those are signs that your body and soul are reacting to a unhealthy lifestyle. It is a way for the Universe to tell you: “Hey buddy! What the hell are you doing? Wake up! This is not what you inspire to do!”

If you are unhappy, something in your life needs to change.


6. Bring consciousness and awareness in your life


Consciousness is many things. It is:
– the state of being awake and aware of one’s surroundings;
– the awareness or perception of something by a person;
– the fact of awareness by the mind of itself and the world.

The first step in your recovery and progress is to stop lying to yourself. Acknowledge the state of your life. It is no longer serving you. You have become something you do not desire to be and you are making yourself literally sick.

We’re all consciousness. Therefore we all have the power of building better tomorrows for ourselves.
