It Is Okay To Ask For A Breather

Sometimes we are too proud to ask for help. Most of us carry ourselves with great pride and often times – with ego. –

We think we can do everything alone and that we don’t need nobody. Truth of the matter is everyone needs a little support sometimes.

After investing all his money in SpaceX Elon Musk had to borrow money for rent.

When you know you’re about to sink in, it is wiser to ask for a life buoy than to let yourself drawn. However, many great success stories come from people who were able to sink and swim back all the way to the top. Use your intuition to know what’s best for you in your given situation. Will you be able to swim back? If the answer is yes, well dive in! If you think it would be a little too overwhelming, ask for a lifeguard.

Everyone has at least one person (family member, friend, partner..) who is willing to lend couple bucks or throw a life buoy. Be grateful and when you can afford it, always remember to give back.

It’s okay to ask for help, but never let any help paralyze you on your journey. Because at the end of the day, someone can throw you a life buoy, but deciding what you’re going to do with it; the choice remains yours.

Whatever you choose to do, the most important thing is to use your decision at your advantage. The journey we are on is a learning process.

Your journey is fabulous.

You’ll make it.

    1. Thank you for your time Akhila. I totally get you. I was on the other side for a long time.

My ego nearly drove me living on the streets. But then I reached out for help and the unexpected happened. I’m still super broke, but I feel richer than ever knowing that I can ask for help. It eases my mind and my soul knowing I’m not alone.

Asking for help might hurt your ego at first, but accepting that you can’t do everything on your own, will make you wiser/stronger and you will feel a strong sense of relief. Those times are there to teach us something. I don’t know about you, but in my situation I believe it was to show me that I was more loved and cherished than I thought I was. This led me to become so much more grateful.

I don’t know the situation you are in; whether you speak about the past or the current present. If you are in need of a buoy right now, and you know someone willing to throw one at you, consider doing it. But don’t take my word for it. The choice remains yours.

      Have a wonderful day!

      Infinite peace and wisdom!

      1. ha.. it was a great reply and it is so deep..it seems you have analyzed both sides and experienced both cases. I need to satisfy my ego.. I will go to any extent so that it is not hurt…as well as my ego is not hurting some one else..
definitely I will think about your valuable comments..It really means a lot. Thank you so much..
