Embrace Your Emotions

What’s your primary negative underlying emotion in life? Guilt? Shame? Jealousy? Envy? Anger? Disgust? Sadness? Do you secretly despise everybody? Do you secretly hold a death wish? Murder fantasy? Do you hate the Government? Your boss? Do you sometimes put on a smiling face mask just to get through the day? Take a deep breath. Hold it for 3 secs. Now release. It’s okay.

Ever since I started meditating on a daily basis, sometimes 2-3 times a day, I’m experiencing a wide range of emotions. My dreams are more vivid than ever. I even get pull out of the dream state in the middle of the night when the emotions are too strong. My subconscious mind is showing me my truth through very strong imagery. Yesterday in my dream, I have experienced a lot of anger and disgust. I got pulled out of the dream world at exactly 4:44, the guardian angel time. It was really comforting. But even tho going through each of my underlying feeling is hard, I understand it’s part of the healing process. Meditation has this kind of cleansing effect on you when you start practicing stillness; all your emotions come rushing to the surface. It sure is not for the faint of the hearts. It will uncover your deepest emotions that you hide from the world and also from yourself.

That’s when we need to realize how we deal with our negative emotions is important in claiming our inner power because they can make or break you. If we do not have power over certain situations that happen to us, we sure have the power to choose how to react. I’m coming to terms with loving all the wide range of emotions we go through in life because each and every emotion is an experience I can learn from. Negative emotions are necessary in showing us who we are and who we are not. Love your shame. Love your guilt. Love your jealousy. Love your anger. Love your disgust. Love your distress. Love your sadness. Acknowledge them and when you are ready release and let them go. The same way you love your positive emotions, I encourage you to embrace and love your negative emotions because them too are telling you a story about yourself; a story of change, healing and progress.

I wish infinite love, health, healing, wealth, success, happiness, awareness, peace and wisdom upon your soul.
