I’m so late today. It’s nearly 5pm Eastern Time. We’re not in the morning anymore lol. I had few other things to take care of that threw me off schedule.
Anyway, I’m here. I spent all day thinking about value and how it affects our lives. Sometimes we’re not even aware that’s what it’s all about.
But the more I do business and the more I live and learn, it seems that everything in life is about value.
People do business when they value what the business has to offer.
We buy products we value.
We love and appreciate people we value.
We eat at restaurants we value the service, the ambience and the food.
We wear clothes we feel give us value.
We do things that are in alignment with what we value.
We act and behave in ways we believe that are valuable to people we value.
We often go crazy because of value.
Without those things, relationships, jobs, degrees, merits, certificates, business deals, trophies, etc, we tend to feel less valuable.
That’s precisely what I want to talk about.
We are all valuable in our own unique ways. We all have value to offer.
That’s the first thing we want to do. We want to recognize our own value.
Do you know what you bring to the table?
It’s important that you know what you have to offer because if you don’t know your own value, what you can bring to the table, you will let others appose value to you and it may be less than what you are actually worth. So know your price.
But see, value is tricky because it’s personal, one dimensional and subject to change.
What you are worth in terms of value may be more than what someone can afford or is willing to sacrifice for, right now. But it does not mean they will never be able to afford it.
And that’s the other problem. We often position ourselves in places, friendships, careers and relationships where what we have to offer is not what they value or is too expensive for them.
Most people are one dimensional beings, you know. Very few are flexible. It’s a bit ironic since we live in a three dimensional world and Physicists are now stipulating we might even be living in a multiverse with infinite number of dimensions.
But I’m getting a bit ahead of the subject here.
What we want to remember is that it’s not because someone does not see value in you that you are not valuable.
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. So in a way, there is no trash. Nobody’s completely worthless.
We’re all worthy. But the first step in feeling more valuable is to recognize your worth and that you too have something to bring to the table.
Now if you know what you have to offer. It gets easier. Because then you can go where what you have is highly valued.
In other words, if you don’t know that you are cat food and hang around dogs, you will spend your entire life never feeling worthy not knowing why. You might even start thinking there’s something wrong with you. But if you know, you will go where the cats are.
Never forget that just because someone sees you as trash does not mean you cant be somebody else treasure.
Infinite love, health, healing, wealth, success, happiness, awareness, peace and wisdom your way
