The Truth About Being Someone

I wake up early this morning with a question.

What does it mean to be someone?

Aren’t we all people already?

When I look in the mirror, I see someone. Do you?

There are a few things I don’t like about that person. I have a couple scars on my face and couple scars in my heart.

But, does it make me less of someone? I’m still someone.

I don’t know much about your scars, my friend. You are still someone.

No money? Still someone.

Feeling lonely? Still someone.

Feeling like a failure? Still someone.

However you feel, whoever you are and whatever you are going through… You never stop being someone.

Just because someone is floating somewhere in the abyss does not make them less of someone.

Sometimes we just forget that we are still someone.

  1. Like you have, I would tell others who are struggling to find themselves among outside influences: Forget all the outside influences for just a moment. You are a someone. Embrace it. This is the place where you work out from and are. Nothing outside can make you less or more than you are. Whatever you are, whatever you’ll be, will come out of this inner someone. The rest is peripheral.

Love and Light. Thanks for sharing!
