The virtues extolled by practicing gratitude transcend all religious boundaries. Philosophers of ancient history have expounded on the value of being grateful and expressing it.

Today mental health experts, through a movement called positive psychology, have identified seven benefits to health and well-being which arise from having an attitude of gratitude.

Yesterday’s post focused generally on why practicing gratitude is important.

Today the focus is on the physical and psychological benefits of gratitude. I will share with you some sites which list and endorse these benefits. Most of them contain almost the same points but provide interesting reading nonetheless.
